How to arrange the coins in chess board

Chess is a board game of skill; in fact, it is widely known that one cannot cheat at a game of chess. The pawns are the shortest and most several pieces in a chess set. You should have eight pawns of each color. These pawns should go in each square in the row in front of the other part of the same color. If your board has coordinates, the white pawns should be on the second rank, and the black pawns must be on the seventh rank.

Sergey Volkov Wins Livigno Chess Open

Hotel Lac Salin won the 2nd International Livigno Chess Open. Volkov led going into the last round, but this was no guarantee, as two players were a half point behind and another three at 1 point.

During the final game, though, it was enough for him to draw against GM Svetushkin Dmitry – Hotel Cervo. Svetushkin was the winner on Thursday evening of the Grand Prix Distillati Mazzetti d’Altavilla, a blitz competition among invited GMs which took place at Hotel Lac Salin.

The blitz competition earned him a valuable crystal chess board, with pieces made of little bottles with liqueur inside.At the main contest, Svetushkin came fourth, preceded by GM Michalik Peter – Garni Baita della Luna in second and GM Timoshenko, Georgy – Hotel Flora in 3rd. The first three players also won a luxury watch each, accessible by Baume Mercier.

Fifth place went to GM Solodovnichenko Yuri – Park Chalet Hotel Village and 6th for another young chess player, Kilpatrick Callum, who got the last norm for his GM title. Among women, 1st prize overall went to FM Arnetta Maria Teresa – Hotel Amerikan followed by WIM Brunello Marina – Hotel Baita Montana.

90 players, representing 24 nations, with 22 GMs and 14 IMs took part in the event in the Plaza Plachéda conference centre in Livigno, one of the main Alpine resorts in the Alps. At the end of each half round, the scores are tallied. The success of the first half round shoots first in the next half round and play continues in this manner.

Only the maximum point of the team that leads in each round is counted, meaning only one side can score per round. This continues until a player has scored 15 points or a team has scored 21 points.

Carrom Powder which is pure Boric Acid powder are available in 15 gms./ 100 gms./ 1 Kg or 5 Kg. packing. However in certain countries where boric powder is banned as a carrom powder due to health hazardness Potato Starch powder can also be supplied by us instead of boric powder as a carrom powder. Carrom powder should be kept moisture free.
