Tri-National Carrom Team

Sri Lanka is due to take part in the opening Tri-Nation Carrom Series which has been structured by the Maldives Carrom Federation from December 20 to 23 in Male. The other country that will participate is India.

Prior to the Tests, the Sri Lanka Juniors will take part in competition against the Maldives from Thursday, December 17 to 19. Both teams will leave on December 16 and go back on the 24th.

Sri Lankan teams:

Men: D. Nishantha Fernando Chamil Cooray, and Viraj Fernando.
Women: Nayana Wickramasinghe, Yasika Rahubadda and Roshita Joseph.

Junior teams:

Boys: M. Sherifdeen, Ishan Kannangara and Prabath Yatawara.
Girls: Madushika Kanchamala, Chalani Liyanage and Nethmi Jayasinghe.

The teams will be supported by J.S.R. Rodrigo (men’s team director), Rohini Mathiasz (women’s team manageress), Langley Mathiasz (coach) and D.D.N.Jayawardena (teacher in charge) (BM)
