Carrom and tennis tournament can reduce stress

According to a global survey, Employees of nearly 58% companies are facing work related stress over the last two years which has affected their performance. Regus Group did a survey on over three lakh respondents in 11,000 companies across 13 countries to find out their experience on the workplace during difficult times.

The most significant increase in stress was found in China wherein nearly 86% employees reported a rise in stress. The least stress was reported in Netherlands with 47% Workers in India faced slightly lower increase with 57%.

In India, even when there is an increase in employee income, many employees are facing work related stress and lifestyle diseases. There are very few companies that have done something to solve this problem. There are a few Indian companies like Ugam solutions that have taken certain measures to reduce stress. They encourage employees to participate in table tennis and Carrom tournament.

If companies conduct such tournaments there will be reduction in the stress level among employees and their performance will improve.
